DIP collet sockets for chips

DIP collet sockets for microcircuits are products designed for reliable contact of microcircuits in a DIP package with a printed circuit board.

Narrow collet sockets have from 6 to 28 contacts, wide - from 24 to 48.

Such sockets are in better contact with the microcircuit pins, but their cost is higher, and the mounting/dismantling speed is slightly worse.

There are DIP sockets with push-in planar contacts that are used for surface mounting.

DIP collet sockets for microcircuits are available in two versions:

• single-row: number of contacts - from 5 to 40, pitch - 2.54 mm;
• double row: number of contacts - from 6 to 48.
