Ceramic heaters provide fast heating, and a long service life when handled carefully. The operating voltages of the soldering irons are mains (220V) or low-voltage. Low voltage can be used in high security networks for educational institutions, etc. (for voltage 36-42V) and for autonomous operation from the battery (voltage 6-12-18V).
