Levels (water levels) are plastic (metal, wooden) rectangular measuring instruments that have transparent flasks (eyes) filled with liquid. Levels are used to measure the deviation of surfaces from a horizontal or vertical plane.
Goniometers are tools that measure the geometric angles of various structures and parts (by the contact method), as well as the angles between objects that are distant from each other (by the optical method).
