Sponges and rods for cleaning soldering tips

During the soldering of a huge amount of electronic components on printed circuit boards, the tip of the soldering equipment is very often contaminated with flux and soldering materials. To clean soldering iron tips, special sponges and rods are used.

Soldering iron cleaning sponges are made from natural materials (usually cellulose), which most effectively remove the remnants of "soldering waste" from the tip.

There are expensive analogues of ordinary copper tips that have a multilayer structure, but they also require careful maintenance - it is forbidden to sharpen them, and you need to clean them only with sponges.
