Trimmer resistors

Trimmer resistors are a type of variable resistors that are designed to fine-tune electronic devices during their installation on a printed circuit board or during repairs. These components are installed in the housing of the electronic device, so that they are not accessible to users during normal use.

In the Russian Federation, tuning resistors are indicated on electrical diagrams in accordance with the state standard 2.728-74.

There are 3 types of trimmers:

• ordinary with three conclusions;
• ordinary with two conclusions;
• in rheostat.
