Metal-paper capacitors

Metal-paper capacitors are devices that accumulate an electrical charge. They are used in circuits with pulsating and low-frequency voltage.

Such capacitors have relatively large dielectric losses at frequencies above several tens of kilohertz. There are such types:

• paper-sealed heat-resistant;
• small-sized;
• heat resistant;
• oil;
• metal-paper sealed;
• low voltage;
• single layer;
• small-sized, etc.

Metal-paper capacitors have a capacity from 1000 pF to 10 microfarads. Their operating voltage can reach 1000 V.
