Analysts Updated Semiconductor Market Forecast for 2022

Analyst firm IC INSIGHTS reaffirmed its semi-market growth forecast for 2022 made back in January. The figure remains unchanged - + 11%, however, there was a "castling" of growth rates between IC and OSD products (Opto-Sensors-Discretes): the forecast for the first was increased from 7% to 11%, and for the second it was lowered from 11% to 9% .

The analyst believes that the growth of CMOS image sensors and lighting LEDs will slow down most noticeably. But in general, the estimate of the volume of the semi-market in 2022 has not changed - $567.1 billion is expected.
