GigaDevice Semiconductor is a large Chinese company for the development and production of memory chips, sensors and microcontrollers based on the ARM and RISC-V architecture, founded in 2005.

A feature of GigaDevice microcontrollers based on the Cortex-M3 and Cortex-M4 architecture is pin-to-pin compatibility with microcontrollers from ST Microelectronics. The range of microcontrollers of the GD32F103 series based on the Cortex-M3 architecture, which are direct analogues of the STM32F103 microcontrollers from ST Microelectronics, has arrived.
