NSP-3200 series – low-cost AC/DC high-power power supplies from MEAN WELL

High-power DC switching power supplies are increasingly used in industrial equipment, laser-based installations, digital telecommunications and other applications. For example, power supplies of the RSP-3000 series have become one of the most popular among power supplies with high output power and advanced functionality. However, in some cases of use, additional functionality may be redundant, so MEAN WELL has developed a low-cost NSP series with high power output, similar to the RSP series, with a lower cost while maintaining the basic characteristics.

The power supplies of the NSP-3200 series are AC/DC converters in a case design designed for embedding in high–power end devices (3200 W) - 24 and 48V DC voltage sources. The NSP-3200 series is a budget analogue of the RSP-3000 series, but at the same time retains the main functions – adjustment (programming) of the output voltage within a wide range Output Voltage Programmable (PV), remote ON-OFF Remote ON-OFF Control, monitoring of voltage drop on the load Remote Sense, alarm voltage output DC OK and additional 12V DC output. The NSP series power supplies have a built-in active power Factor Corrector (PFC), the function of limiting the output current (Constant current limiting), high efficiency up to 94.5%, the main types of protection: short circuit, overload, overvoltage, overheating. The NSP-3200 power supplies use forced ventilation due to an integrated cooling fan with intelligent rotation speed control. The NSP-3200 series power supplies have a warranty period of 5 years.
