PSP-600 series - powerful and functional power supplies from MEAN WELL

Power supplies of medium and high power (from 300W and above) are traditionally one of the most popular segments of the switching power supply market. A distinctive feature of the series of powerful power supplies is the additional functionality that allows them to be used in a wide range of applications - from laboratory installations to industry.

The PSP-600 series power supplies are medium power AC/DC converters. Power supplies have an extended input range of 88-264V (AC), and the output voltage in the series is determined by a number of values - 5, 12, 13.5, 15, 24, 27, 48V, which allows you to choose the right power supply for the maximum number of tasks. The output current, depending on the model, can be from 12.5 to 80A, the rated output power is 600W.

PSP-600 series power supplies have a built-in Power Factor Corrector (PFC), a built-in output current limiting circuit (constant current limiting circuit), the main types of protection: against short circuit, overload, overvoltage, overheating. The power supplies of the series have built-in functions: remote control (remote ON / OFF control) and control of the voltage level at the load (remote sense function), which allows you to compensate for the drop in the output voltage level on the wires from the power supply to the load by increasing the output voltage of the power supply. Separately, it is worth noting the presence of the Current Sharing function - with this function, several power supplies can be connected in parallel to increase the total output power. For the PSP-600 series, up to 4 power supplies can be connected in parallel (according to the 3 + 1 scheme) to power loads up to 2400W. The connection scheme requires a fairly large number of connections between power supplies, but at the same time, their balanced operation is achieved with output voltage control directly at the load connection point:

Power supplies of the PSP-600 series do not have a specialized purpose, and can be used as general-purpose AC/DC converters in any areas - telecommunications equipment, industry, automation devices, consumer electronics, instrumentation and others.
