SCWN06 and DCWN06 series – DC/DC converters with stabilized output from MEAN WELL

DC/DC converters represent a fairly large and actively developing segment of the power supply market. In the assortment of our company there are two new series from the company MEAN WELL, fully compatible with similar converters from other manufacturers both in overall dimensions and in the location of contacts and their name (Pin-to-Pin compatible).

DC/DC converters of the SCWN06 series and DCWN06 series are a series of modular type converters, with contacts arranged in two rows (DIP24 package), stabilized (Regulated), for installation on a printed circuit board. The SCWN06 series module is a DC/DC converter with a single positive polarity output, and the DCWN06 series module is a DC/DC converter with a double output, positive and negative polarity of the same nominal. The SCWN06 and DCWN06 modules are an effective solution for providing power to the main or additional (auxiliary) circuit nodes that are demanding for the stability of the supply voltage, with galvanic isolation from the main power source.

The features of the DC/DC converters of the SCWN06 and DCWN06 series are – a small-sized housing, the arrangement of contacts in two rows (Dual in-line package, DIP), the main input voltage ranges (12, 24, 48V), standard output voltages (3.3, 5, 12, 15V for SCWN06 and ±5, ±12, ±15V for DCWN06), rated output power of 6W, typical pin assignment (Industry standard pinout). The modules on the printed circuit board of the SCWN06 and DCWN06 series are general-purpose power supplies and are intended for use in various applications, including telecommunications and data transmission systems, wireless networks, control devices in industrial automation, instrumentation, analyzers, detectors and others.
