Pico Motor Driver - DC Motor Control Module for Raspberry Pi Pico
To expand the capabilities of the Raspberry Pi Pico programmable platform, Waveshare has released the Pico Motor Driver module based on two TB6612FNG 2-channel H-bridge chips, which will simultaneously connect up to four motors to the module and the PCA9685 chip, which provides 12-bit hardware PWM for precise speed control.
The module is controlled via the I2C interface with the ability to select up to 32 different addresses, which makes it flexible for various projects.
The module is connected to the Raspberry Pi Pico via a standard connector, which provides a reliable connection without the need for additional wires. A 5V voltage regulator with an output current of up to 3A is integrated into the module, which allows you to control both the Raspberry Pi Pico and connected motors from a single power source via the VIN connector. In addition, unused Raspberry Pi Pico contacts are displayed on a separate contact pad, which makes it possible to additionally connect various sensors to the module.
