Description
Reviews
The 24LC65-I/P is a 64 Kbyte intelligent serial programmable I2C permanent memory with electrical erasure capability (EEPROM), which has been developed for advanced low-power applications such as personal communications, and provides the system developer with flexibility through the use of a variety of new user-programmable functions. The 24XX65 is equipped with a 4 KB ultra-high capacity storage unit that can be moved to store data that changes frequently. The remaining part of the array, or 60 Kbytes, is designed for 1,000,000 erase/write cycles (E/W). The 24XX65 is equipped with a cache memory for fast data recording of eight pages or 64 bytes. This device is also equipped with programmable security settings for electronic protection of critical data and/or code up to fifteen 4K blocks in size. Functional address lines allow you to connect up to eight 24XX65 modules with up to 512 KB continuous EEPROM memory to a single bus. The advanced CMOS technology makes this device ideal for use in low-power, non-volatile code and data applications.
• Compatible with the I2C™ industry standard over the 2-wire bus protocol
• Typical write cycle time, byte or page, is 2 ms
• 64-byte input cache for fast data loading
• Schmitt trigger, filtered input signals to suppress interference
• Tilt adjustment of the output signal to eliminate bounce off the ground
• Synchronized cycles of erasing and writing data
• Data protection scheme against on/off
• Protection against electrostatic discharge >4000 V
• Data retention period >200 years
