Epcos develops and manufactures soft magnetic oxide ceramic ferrite materials (MnZn and NiZn). The excellent parameters of these materials determine a wide range of their applications.
ETD and EFD cores with a flattened and recessed center rod make the transformer almost flat. They are primarily used for DC/DC converters.
