Resettable fuses (multifuse) are components designed to protect electronic devices from overcurrent or overheating. The principle of their operation is based on the ability to sharply increase their resistance under the influence of a passing current or ambient temperature and automatically restore their original properties after these causes are eliminated.

Applications: almost everywhere where overload protection of electronic devices is required, incl. telephony, computers, automotive industry.
