MKON-24, Network gateway

The device is designed for mutual conversion and data transmission of Modbus RTU/ASCII and Modbus TCP protocols via RS-485 and Ethernet/Wi-Fi communication interfaces, respectively. Master and Slave modes are supported for protocols.

Two specially designed plug-ins for working with the device have been added to the ARIES Configurator:

• "Configure Gateway" will help you quickly configure the protocol converter for one of the ready-made operation scenarios.:

Master on an Ethernet/Wi-Fi network - Slave on an RS-485 network (supports up to 32 Slave devices on an RS-485 network without repeater)
Master on an RS-485 network - Slave on an Ethernet/Wi-Fi network (supports up to 31 Slave devices on an Ethernet network)

• The Modbus sniffer will allow you to view packet exchange between Master-Slave devices connected to the gateway.
