The cable tester-locator is designed to find a wire or cable and trace the route of their laying in a cable line without damaging the insulation. For a telephone line, its condition can be determined - this simplifies the work of laying, maintaining and repairing telephone lines.
The device consists of two parts: receiver and transmitter. The transmitter has two terminals for connection to the high voltage line and a telephone plug for connection to the telephone line. The receiver has sensitivity adjustment, audio speaker and headphone jack.
