The STM32 Nucleo-32 series debugging board provides an affordable and flexible way for users to try new concepts and create prototypes using the STM32 microcontroller, choosing from various combinations of performance, power consumption and functions. Support for the Arduino Nano V3 interface makes it easy to extend the functionality of the open development platform Nucleo-32. No additional hardware is required for programming, the ST-LINK programmer is already built into the board.

Features of NUCLEO-F042K6:
- STM32F042K6T6 microcontroller: ARM Cortex-M0, up to 48 MHz, 32 KB Flash, 6 KB RAM, USB FS 2.0, CAN, 9 timers, ADC and comm. interfaces, 2 - 3.6 V, LQFP32 enclosure;
- 1 custom LED;
- 1 reset button;
- Arduino Nano V3 Expansion Connector;
- USB Micro-AB connector for ST-LINK/V2-1;
- Flexible power options: ST-LINK USB VBUS or external sources;
- Built-in ST-LINK debugger/programmer with USB renumbering capability: storage device, virtual COM port and debugging port;
- Compatible with Arm Mbed Enabled;
- Free software libraries and examples available in the MCU STM32Cube package;
- Support for a wide selection of integrated development environments (IDEs), including IAR Embedded Workbench, MDK-ARM and STM32CubeIDE.
