Device operation.
The counter is an electronic device based on a microcontroller.
The panel version of the meter body determines the layout of its controls, indications and connection connectors. On the front panel of the device is a six-digit LED display. Below it is a button. On the back side of the device there are screw terminal blocks for power connection. The meter is powered by a DC voltage source from 12 to 30 V, or AC voltage from 20 to 245 V. The polarity of the DC voltage source connection does not matter.
When power is applied, the meter display shows minutes and seconds xx.xx. When the button is briefly pressed, the display shows the running time in hours xxx.xxx. After 3 seconds, it returns to the previous mode and the display will show minutes and seconds. When the button is pressed and held for more than 3 seconds, the indicator remains showing the operating time in hours until the power is turned off or the button is pressed again.
