• PURPOSE
The cable entry (gland) is designed to enter wires and cables into switchboards and electrical assembly in order to protect conductors from mechanical damage and completely seal the assembly itself from dust and moisture ingress at the entry point. Degree of protection IP68.

It is used for hermetic entry of cables and pipes into the housings of junction boxes, shields, cabinets and boxes.
• OPERATING PRINCIPLE
Cable entry (gland) provides protection of wires from mechanical damage, as well as sealing of the assembly from dust and moisture by mechanical fixation of the cable in the cable entry housing with a sealing ring.
