Small-sized AC contactors for general industrial use with a load current from 9 to 95 A are designed for starting, stopping and reversing asynchronous motors with a short-circuited rotor at a voltage of up to 660 V (AC-3 application category), as well as for remote control of lighting circuits, heating circuits and various low-inductive loads (AC-1 application category). All versions with a load current of up to 40 A have one group of closing or opening additional contacts. Versions for load current over 40 A - two groups (closing and opening).

The scope of application of small-sized contactors of the KMI series is the control of fans, pumps, heat curtains, furnaces, crane beams, machine tools, lighting, in automatic reserve input systems (AVR).

According to their design and technical characteristics, the small-sized contactors of the KMI series meet the requirements of international and Russian GOST R 50030 standards.4.1-2012 (IEC 60947-4-1:2009).
Small-sized contactors of the KMI series have passed certification tests and a certificate of compliance with ROSS CN.ME86.B00144 has been obtained for their serial production.
