DGC2 series autotransformers must be operated in an explosion-proof environment that does not contain dust, as well as aggressive gases and vapors in concentrations that destroy metals and insulation.

TDGC2 autotransformers are short-circuit resistant devices, so the consumer must connect them to a network that is protected by fuses with a current equal to the rated current of the transformer or a protective device of another type, for example, an automatic circuit breaker.

During operation, the autotransformers must be grounded.
