Sound emitters manufactured by Sonitron

17.02.2023

Sonitron is a leading manufacturer of piezoelectric acoustic components founded in 1977. The company's products are widely in demand in various applications: security and fire alarm systems, video surveillance, emergency notification, agricultural machinery and transport, medical equipment, games and toys, sound alarms, commercial equipment, industrial control and management systems.

The assortment of the company "CHIP and DIP" includes the most popular series of piezo emitters Sonitron.

SMA series

The SMA series is the most versatile sound transducer series, specifically designed to meet the widest requirements for sound pressure, dimensions and mounting methods. The emitters contain a built-in driver-oscillator, due to which the emitter requires only a direct current source with a voltage of 1.5 to 24 V. The SMA series sound emitters produce a clear tone signal at an operating frequency of 3-3.8 kHz (depending on the model).

SMAT Series

The SMAT series are piezo emitters without a built-in driver; an external generator is required for control, operating at the emitter resonance frequency. They have an operating frequency range from 500 to 6000 Hz, an operating voltage from 0 to 30 V, a peak sound intensity of 80 - 90 dB is in the frequency range from 3 to 5 kHz.
