ADS1113/ADS1114ADC Analog-to-Digital Converters

The Texas Instruments ADS1113 and ADS1114 precision analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) feature an onboard reference and oscillator. These TI ADCs transfer data via an I²C-compatible serial interface. The ADS1113 and ADS1114 also allow four I²C slave addresses to be selected. Each TI ADC features 16 bits of resolution and a wide supply range of 2.0V to 5.5V. The ADS1113 and ADS1114 also provide low current consumption and conversion rates of up to 860 samples per second (SPS). An onboard PGA is available on the ADS1114 that offers input ranges as low as ±256mV, allowing large and small signals to be measured with high resolution.
