Multiplex switches

A multiplexor (or commutator, selector, switch) is a device which has several signal inputs, one or more control inputs and one output.
A multiplexor allows to transmit a signal from one of the inputs to the output. The desired input is chosen by the relevant combination of the controlling signals.
