Photoresistor

A photoconducting cell is photosensitive semiconductive element. Its resistance depends on the illumination level.
Under light action the electrical resistance of the photoconducting cell decreases by thousands times. At that the current in the circuit grows reaching the value which is sufficient for actuation or operation of a device.
