Sockets for microcircuits

Sockets for microcircuits are switching elements (connectors) for solderless placement of microcircuits on a printed circuit board or breadboard. They allow you to repeatedly replace the microcircuit in the design if repair or other actions with it are necessary. They have ordinary or collet contacts, in the second case, the resource of such a panel increases. They can have a standard or special pitch and correspond to various types of microcircuits: DIP, SIP, PGA, PLCC.
For use in programmers, there are specially designed zero-force sockets that protect chips with a large number of pins from damage, while firmly fixing the chip in the socket.
