DIP sockets for chips

DIP sockets for microcircuits are the cheapest and most common products designed for quick and easy mounting / dismounting of microcircuits in a DIP package from printed circuit boards. These pin headers can have 6 to 48 pins.

Panels with pin terminals are made in two versions:

• narrow (width 7.62 mm), number of contacts - from 6 to 32;
• wide (width 15.24 mm), the number of contacts is from 24 to 48.

There are also sockets with spring contacts, which have a pitch of 2.54 mm and 1.78 mm. Such products can also be narrow and wide, while having from 6 to 64 contacts.
